“Yamnat” publishes draft law to amend the law on judicial authority submitted to the Sanaa Parliament

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Sanaa House of Representatives began discussing a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No. (1) of 1991 AD concerning the judicial authority and its amendments, submitted by the government.
The Council approved the referral of the bill and its explanatory memorandum to a special commission composed of the presidents of the standing committees, chaired by the President of the Council, to study it in the presence of the government party and specialists, and communicate the results to the Council so that it can be discussed and decided in accordance with constitutional and legal procedures.
